Linda Forehand, 74, of Hendersonville, formerly of Todd County, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Nashville, Tenn. on July 8, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Jettie Anderson Mallory.
Mrs. Forehand was retired from the Metro Nashville Board of Education where she taught Kindergarten. She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, was a member of the Questers Club, was an active member of Riverwood Church of Christ and was formerly the director of activities at the Delmus Long Community Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20 at 11 a.m. at the Riverwood Church of Christ with Rick Binkley and Dustin Welch officiating. Burial will follow at the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 19 from 4-8 p.m. at the Phillips -Robinson Funeral Home. Services entrusted to Todd County Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Forehand; her son, Jamie Forehand of New York, and her daughter, Mallory Forehand of Kingston Springs.
