Dan Wilson, 75, of Cates By-Pass Road, Russellville, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his home.

He was a Logan County native born August 10, 1937, to the late William Melrose Wilson and Mary Stuart Wilson.

He worked for the lumber yard as an outdoor salesman. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and served on the Stuart Chapel Cemetery Board.

Funeral services for Dan Wilson were 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Reed and Bro. Mike Miller officiating with burial in the Stuarts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was at the funeral home on Saturday, will begin at noon until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers were David Hunt, Carl Burchett, Keith Walker, Roger Wright, Harold McIntosh and Dylan Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Wilson; sons, Terry Wilson (Barbara) of Goodlettsville, Tenn., Keith Wilson (Kelly) of Walkerton, Ind. and Dan Gilliam (Donna) of Bruceton, Texas; daughters, Vickie Appling (George) of Auburn, Danielle Wilson of Russellville, Becky Gilliam (Jo) of Clarksville, Tenn. and Carol Massey (Roger) of Madisonville; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
