JoAnn Shaffer, 66, of the Highland Lick Road, Russellville, Kentucky died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green.
She was a Logan County native, born June 17, 1946, to the late Joe Stevenson and Roselie Collins Davis.
She was a real estate broker for 28 years and the owner of Country Wide Realty. She was an active Christian and member of the Logan County Board of Realtors.
Funeral services for JoAnn Shaffer were conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Summers Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating. Visitation was held after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the funeral home and after 8 a.m. on Sunday until the time of the service.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Shaffer; son, Eric Trammel of Russellville; daughters, Sunny Shoemake (Bobby) of Russellville and Crystal Cavanah (Michael) of Russellville; step daughters, Tammy Hunt (Shane) of Auburn and JoAnn Shaffer of Nashville; seven grandchildren, seven step grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
