Dot Parr, 67, of Auburn, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2013, in the Hospice Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Sylva, N.C. on Aug. 17, 1945, a daughter of the late Claude and Inez Cunningham Winstead. In addition to her parents. Mrs. Parr was preceded in death by her husband Ed Parr and her daughter, Michelle Yokley.

Mrs. Parr formerly worked in medical billing with Dr. Dewey Wood and as the activity director with Auburn Healthcare. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 2 in the Auburn Cemetery at 10 a.m. with Brother Nick Stamps officiating. Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation.

She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Coles and husband Kevin of Auburn; her brothers, Jess Winstead and Jim Winstead and his wife Linda, both of North Carolina; her sister, Gail Anderson and husband Ray of N.C., and her grandchildren, Tristan Keltner, Josh Johnston, Penelope Coles and James Lewis Coles.

The family has asks that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
