James Milton Cundiff, 92, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

He was born in Logan County, a son of the late John Robert and Lula Belle Whitson Cundiff. In additionj to his parents, Mr. Cundiff was preceded in death by his sister, Winnie Brown.

James and Magdalene celebrated 70 years of marriage June 6, 2012. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church and a charter member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lewisburg. He was a World War II Army veteran and retired from Reynolds Aluminum in Louisville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

He is survived by his wife and first love, Magdalene Christmas Cundiff; his son, Fred Cundiff of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Betty Jo Free of Scottsville and Nelson Glenn Cundiff (Cassie) and Jennifer Cundiff Palmer (David), both of Bowling Green, and his great-grandchildren, Kanan Free, Nickolas and Kaylee Palmer, Carson and Lily Kate Cundiff.
