William “Bill” Cowan, 88, of Hopkinsville, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
He was born in Todd County July 17, 1924, a son of the late Jay and Eva Tucker Cowan.
Mr. Cowan was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and member of Britmart Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeremy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Todd County Meadow Haven Cemetery. Visitation began at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 28 from 5-8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hampton Cowan of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Brenda Robertson of Elkton; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
