Nancy Chastain, 71, of Trenton, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Alive Hospice Center at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born in Cheatham County, Tenn. Sept. 4, 1941, a daughter of Virginia Borum Jackson of Ashland City, Tenn. and the late Wyatt Jackson. In addition to her father, Mrs. Chastain was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Franklin.

Mrs. Chatain was a graduate of Austin Peay University, a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and was a devoted housewife and mother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bill Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.Visitation began Monday, Dec. 17 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Chastain is survived by her husband of 50 years, Smith Chastain of Trenton; her daughters, Shari Chastain of Dawsonville, Ga. and Jan Chastain Lyon of Trenton, and her grandson, Collin Lyon of Trenton.
