Walter “Glenn” Blick, 74, of Adairville, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Logan County May 30, 1938, a son of the late Layton Turner Blick Sr. and the late Lillian Smith Blick. In addition to his parents, Mr. Blick was preceded in death by his brother, Layton Turner Blick, Jr.

Mr. Blick was a member of the Second Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, was a farmer and a member of the Russellville Rural Fire Department Board.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Steve Smith and Brother Ben Ferguson officiating. Burial followed in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 5 after 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Ben Ferguson, Fred Dobbs, Johnny Dawson, Tim Blick, Donnie Ballard, Roger Coleman, Buster Vick, Billy Poore, Decons of Second Baptist Church and the Faithful Followers Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Nelle Blick; his son, Chris Blick and wife Christy of Adairville; his brother Clyde Blick of Olmstead, and his grandchildren, McKenzie Duncan, Jon-Layton Blick and Hayden Blick.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
