Charles “Chuck” Ellis Wood Jr., 53, of Russellville, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Muhlenberg County July 24, 1959, a son of Charles Ellis Wood Sr. and Velma Whitney Wood. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Wood.

Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements

In addition to his parents, Mr. Woods is survived by his two sons, Charles Whitney Wood of Russellville and Joshua Adam Wood of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Jennifer Marie Willoughby of Bowling Green and Chessie Leann Wood of Hopkinsville; his brother, Gary Wood of Russellville, and two grandchildren.
