Lois Bailey, 99, of Auburn, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Logan County Sept. 29, 1913, a daughter of the late James and Stella Beauchamp Hester. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Bailey.

Mrs. Bailey is a member of the Chandlers Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Brother Wayne Hunter officiating. Burial followed in the Chandlers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation began Monday, Oct. 29 from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Terry Bailey, Jerry Bailey, Jason Bailey, Nathan Bailey, Adam Bailey, Josh Bailey and Brent McDaniels.

She is survived by her sons, Edwin Bailey of Auburn and Larry Bailey and Diana of Russellville; grandchildren Terry Bailey, Jerry Bailey, Jason bailey, Nathan Bailey, Adam Bailey, Josh Bailey, Brent Daniel and Lori Hicks; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family asks that donations be made to the Chandlers Chapel United Methodist Church - C/O Jo Orange Treasurer - 1792 Sycamore Road - Russellville, Ky. 42276.
