James E. “Jimmy” Bilbrey, 65, of the Bucksville Road, Auburn, died Monday, October 29, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Logan County, Kentucky December 26, 1946 to the late Jay Otis Bilbrey and Nellie Mae Bilyeu Bilbrey. He worked for The City of Franklin Water Department for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Bilbrey.

Funeral Services for will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 in the new Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home located at 210 North Thurston Drive on the bypass, with Barry Cates officiating and burial to follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held after 5:00 p.m. Thursday and again Friday morning from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Scarbrough, Dewight Scarbrough, Gary Huskisson, Bradley Price, Timmy Montgomery and Tracy Armer.

He is survived by a son, Cody Bilbrey of Auburn; daughter, Tina Armer (Tracy) of Kevil; brothers Woody Bilbrey, Dallas Bilbrey and Otis Bilbrey, all of Russellville; sisters, Mardell Huskisson, Joyce Scarbrough, Mabel Dowell, and Mildred Wilson, all of Auburn; grandchildren, Tracy Jay Dalton Armer, James Ryan Armer, Michael Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
