Vera R. Rutherford, 83, of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Saturday, Oct, 27, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rutherford.

A native of Kentucky, Mrs. Rutherford was born March 8, 1929. She was the co-owner of The Gift Gallery Accessories Limited on Hwy 124 in Snellville and a member of Lawrenceville Church of Christ. She was previously employed by Williams Brothers Lumber Company.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Minister Paul Nicklas officiating. Visitation will begin one hour before the service at funeral home

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Diane Rutherford of Lawrenceville, Ga.; her sisters-in-law, Jane Ann Law of Tenn. and Dean Lee and Margaret Anne Reed, both of Kentucky, and her grandchild, Austin Rutherford of Lawrenceville, Ga.
