Thomas Woodson Oliver, 91, of the Hampton Station Community of Clarksville, Tenn., died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Clarksville, Tenn. Oct. 2, 1921, a son of the late Thomas Bacy and Maude Livingston Oliver. In addition to his parents, Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Harris Oliver.

Mr. Oliver was a member of the Guthrie United Methodist Church. He was retired from Agricultural Sales and was a United States Navy World War II Air Pilot.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the Guthrie United Methodist Church. Visitation begins Saturday, Oct. 13 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at a later date. Cook-Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his son, Tom W. Oliver Jr. and wife Teri of Santa Anna, Calif.; his grandchildren, Eric and Mark of Santa Anna, Calif., and his sister, Charlotte Marshall of Clarksville, Tenn.
