Walter “Jim” Jackson, 42, of Kingston Springs, Tenn., formerly of Russellville, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. at his home.

He was born in Simpson County Nov. 8, 1969, a son of Nancy Epley Lester and the late Mack Lester. In addition to his father, Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his uncle, Odis Epley.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 12:30 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel. Burial followed in the Duncans Chapel Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Jackson is survived by his partner, Martin Campbell, Jr.; his brothers, Kenneth Jackson of Colorado Springs, Co., Tim Jackson of Auburn, Walter White Jr. of Bowling Green and Robert White of Russellville.

Pallbearers were Tim Jackson, Robert White, Walter White Jr., James Martin Campbell Sr., Buddy White and Stephen Sumerlin.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
