Dorothy G. McIntosh, 87, of Elkton, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Todd County July 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Edwin Groves and Mary Henderson Poquette.

Mrs. McIntosh was retired from Civil Service having worked at the Elkton Post Office and the Selective Service Board and in Medical Supply at Fort Campbell, Ky. She was a member of Elkton Christian Church and served on the Planning Commission of Elkton and the Arbor Board.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation began Thursday, Sept. 27 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son, Bob McIntosh of Elkton; her daughter, Linda M. Withers of Hopkinsville; her grandchildren, Patrick McIntosh, Brandon McIntosh, Karen Jenkins and Anne Withers, and eight great-grandchildren.
