Willie Castle, 91, of Guthrie, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Johnson County, Ky. Jan. 28, 1921, a son of the late Oscar and Seiffert Daniels Castle.

Mr. Castle was as retired plumber, a member of the Guthrie Baptist Church and a 60 year member of the Guthrie - Bethel Masonic Lodge #669.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Guthrie Baptist Church with Reverend Stephen Childers officiating. Burial followed at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie. Visitation began Sunday, Sept. 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home and Monday, Sept. 24 from 12 p.m. until time of service at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Emma Jean Castle of Guthrie; his son, Mike Castle of Clarksville, Tenn.; his daughters, Sherrie Paddy (Lauren) of Guthrie and Karen Dixon (Jerry) of Canton, Ga.; his brother, Jerry Castle of Paintsville, Ky.; his sister, Kathleen Stull of Kettering, Ohio; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
