Eula Mae Welborn Penrod, 93 of Russellville, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.

She was born in Logan County, Kentucky December 19, 1918 to the late Elmer Eddings and Lillie Moore Eddings. She worked for the K-Grill and Felts Resturants was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her husbands James Welborn and Porshen Penrod.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 21 2012 at 2 p.m. in Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Evitts and Bro. Dale Etheridge officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the Funeral Home was held Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. and again Saturday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers were Mark Huddleston, Bart Angel, Danny Johnson, Derek Johnson, Danny Hurt and Gerald Hildabrand.

She is survived by daughters, Eranell Hurt of Auburn and Faye Knight (Bert) of Russellville; step sons, Glen Penrod (Barbara) of Russellville and Butch White of North Carolina; step daughter, Wanda Coursey of Lewisburg; brother, Ray Eddings of Russellville; sisters-in-laws, Etta Mae Eddings of Russellville and Mary Eddings of Clarksville, Ind.; seven grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and six step great great grandchildren

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Gideons International, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
