She was born in Todd County, Nov. 19, 1931, a daughter of the late Ray and Lucy Lear Blake. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by her husband, Bill M. Blake in 1990, and her sons, Bobby Joe Blake and Dalton Blake.
Mrs. Blake was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13 at Latham Funeral Home with Reverend David Neal Blake and Reverend James Roy Lear officiating. Burial followed in the Joines Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Raleigh Blake and David Blake, both of Clifty and James Blake of Clarksville, Tenn.; her daughters, Viana Monahan of Illinois, Glenna Mae Scruggs of Auburn, Mary Beth Mirza of New Jersey, Linda Gayle Blake of Hopkinsville and Rosie Blake of New York; 19 grandchildren, and 47 great-grandchildren.
