The Logan County 4-H Rabbit and Cavy club had another exciting year this year! The club meets monthly from January through June. This year the club held regular meetings where members learned more about raising rabbits, nutrition, selection, breeds and anatomy. Club members had a great time obtaining their rabbits then coming to the county fair to show them in June.

This year’s rabbit show was held on June 3rd at the Logan County Extension Complex. The show was sponsored by Southern States, Tractor Supply Company, Dr. Jon Todd, and Adairville Feed Mill. This year’s judge was Richard Rohr from Christian County. There were several rabbits shown this year with a variety of breeds. This year the winners were:

Best of Show Buck: John Mark Page - English Lop

Best of Show Doe: Amber Bagby - Netherland Dwarf

Showmanship:Cloverbud: Micah Page; Junior: Zac McElfresh; Senior: Amber Bagby.

Showmanship Grand Champion: Amber Bagby
