He began walking at the Pacific Ocean in San Diego, Calif., and hopes to make it to the Atlantic Ocean in Virginia Beach, Va.
On Friday, Slusser made it into Russellville and he left this morning heading to Bowling Green.
Oh, and he's also 71 years old.
He said it has always been a dream to walk across the country and he finally got around to doing it.
Slusser has dedicated his coast to coast walk to senior citizens and disabled Americans - to show them that they too can complete their dreams.
