Stop littering along the roads Dear Editor:

Some days we can make a difference by helping others. So, when I was asked to help Relay for Life in a project that a team was to work on, I did.

We started by going to Duncan Chapel Road. This road is about five miles long. We picked up trash on both sides of the roads all the way to the end.

My friends and I had a good time laughing and talking and just helping out. One thing I do know is that people who travel this road drink too much beer and eat way too many burgers and fast food. We found all the proof of this by the containers on the roadsides.

I think that they all need to quit throwing out all their trash on the roadsides. Better yet, why can’t you just eat and drink at home and then throw the trash in your own yard if you like looking at it!
