Make a difference, do not litter Dear Editor:

Today was a very interesting day. We did a five-mile trash pick-up to help clean up our county. We saw beautiful horses, some friendly dogs, some bad dogs, lots of birds and a lot of trash along the highway.

It is my opinion that people should stop to consider what they are doing. They are no only getting rid of their trash temporarily, but they are also destroying the beautiful picture that God has created for us. The Earth is our responsibility to keep clean and manage correctly and to protect.

It is so sad to see our beautiful landscape being destroyed by all this litter. So from this day forward, just say to yourself, I will help to make a difference. I will not litter!
