Motorcycle accident sends man to Nashville

On May 5, the Logan County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident with injuries involving a single motorcycle on Hwy. 68-80.

Upon arrival by deputies, it was determined that 40-year-old Stephen L. Bell, of Bowling Green, was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 68-80, when he lost control of his 1975 Honda motorcycle and overturned in the median.

Bell sustained significant injuries and was transported via Air Evac helicopter to Vanderbilt University Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

No other details are available at this time. Detective Robbie Matthews is the investigating officer assisted by Sheriff Wallace Whittaker of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
