Former Logan County magistrate Kerry Kenady will have his day in court Monday when he appears in Logan Circuit Court at 9 a.m.

A special prosecutor and judge have been assigned to the case.

Kenady was arrested July 6 after allegedly harassing Stephanie Rosser, a woman who rented a house from him.

Kenady was appointed in 2007 by then-governor Ernie Fletcher to fill the position of magistrate after the sudden death of magistrate Starling Murphy.

Kenady lost the seat two years later to Dickie Carter in a special election.

He also served as president of the Russellville Rotary Club.

Kenady was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury Aug. 14 on several charges including stalking, harassment, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing. Kenady entered a not guilty plea. His attorney is Stewart Wheeler.
