The Logan County High School baseball team came up with a great District win Tuesday, knocking off Todd County Central 6-3.

The Cougars’ Lawton Jackson pitched a complete game for the win.

John Logan Dockins went 1-for-2 and scored a pair of runs. Brice Moore was 1-for-2 with two RBI and Nathan Oberhausen went 2-for-3 and scored a run.

Logan County looks to be hitting its stride now.

After starting the season with six straight losses, the Cougars are now 6-9 and have won their last two District 13 games.

At 2-2, Logan County sits in second place in District 13 behind 4-0 Russellville.

LCHS will be back in action today at University Heights. The Cougars will play in the Green River Bear Bash over the weekend and host Russellville on Tuesday in the second “Clash of the Cats” for this season.
