The Russellville High School baseball team improved to 3-0 in District 13 play Tuesday with a 7-1 victory over Todd County Central.

Russellville has now beaten all three district opponents this season and is now 8-2 overall – including a Fourth Region All ‘A’ Classic championship.

The Panthers will host the winner of the Third Region All ‘A’ Classic in the sub-state portion of the tournament. Owensboro Catholic and Hancock County are in the finals of the Third Region tournament.

The sub-state game will be scheduled after the Panthers’ opponent has been decided.

Currently, Russellville is scheduled to play Metcalfe County at home Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Panthers will then travel to Fort Campbell on Monday at play Tuesday at Franklin-Simpson in another District 13 matchup.
