The Logan County Fair is excited about this year’s 4-H Rabbit Show. On Thursday, June 3rd there will be a rabbit show at the Logan County Extension Complex. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the show starting at 10 a.m. The show is open to anyone in Logan County interested in showing a rabbit. Classes will be divided by rabbit breed and rabbit age.

There will also be a showmanship class divided by the age of the showman. This will be a fun and interactive way to learn more about rabbits, their behavior and put some good communication and responsibility skills into practice. It allows young people the opportunity to learn about caring for an animal which teaches responsibility. They will also learn more about communication and leadership when showing the animals. The show will allow any breed of rabbit to register. There will be prizes awarded for winners in each class. A detailed rule book for the rabbit show can be picked up at the Logan County Extension Office.

For more information about the rabbit show or contact information on how to purchase a rabbit, please call the Extension Office at 726-6323. You may also pick up a set of official rules for the rabbit show at the Extension Office.
