She was born in Logan County Oct. 18, 1935, a daughter of the late Cecil and Christine Welborn Powell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ramsey.
Mrs. Ramsey was a registered nurse and a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
A private graveside service will be held by the family. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 30 at 5 p.m. at Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel.
She is survived by her sons, Butch Ramsey and wife, Rhonda and Steve Ramsey and wife Sandi, all of Russellville, David Ramsey and wife Belinda of Auburn, Don Ramsey and wife Cheryl of Vandalia, Ill. and Scott Ramsey and wife Laura of Bowling Green; her brothers, Bob Powell and Jerry Powell, both of Effingham, Ill. and Bill Powell and Ronnie Powell, both of Brownstone, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
