The Kentucky School Boards Association recently recognized two Russellville Independent School Board members for their service to the Russellville Independent School District. Mr. James Milam, chairman of the school board, was recognized for his 20 years of service as a board member. Ms. Davonna Page was recognized for completing a new professional development level in the Kentucky School Boards Association’s Academy of Studies (AOS) in 2009. There are five levels of AOS training approved by KSBA, with each succeeding level designed to meet the needs of board members as they gain more experience. Page has completed level five, which is the top status in AOS.
The Russellville Independent School District is proud of its school board members for their tireless service to the students and staff members of the district.
