Bennie Lee Bradley, 83, of Russellville died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 after a long battle with COPD and cancer.

Mr. Bradley was born Oct. 29, 1926, a son of the late Russell Edward Bradley and Lou Ellar Latham Bradley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ermma Penrod Bradley; a son, Jerry Dale Bradley; a great-grandson, Malachi Cordell Richmond; four brothers, Raymond, William, Lester and Elvis Bradley; and a sister, Ina Bradley.

Mr. Bradley was a retired employee of Bilt Rite Products and was of the Holiness faith.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Christ Temple, 640 Vonnie Street in Russellville. Burial will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery in Lewisburg. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Bradley, Dakota Cowan, Michael Bradley, Christopher Bradley, Brian Anderson and James K. Penrod.

Mr. Bradley is survived by his daughters, Janice Bradley, Judy (Kenneth) Cowan, and Jennie (Terry) Richmond, all of Russellville; his grandchildren, Dean (Dawn) Bradley and Sarah Richmond, all of Auburn, Teresa Bradley and Jennifer (Brian) Anderson and Dakota Cowan, all of Russellville; his great-grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Bradley of Auburn, Jessie Nicole Anderson of Russellville and Christina Bradley of Russellville; his brother, Lynn Bradley of Russellville; his sister-in-law, Margie Bradley of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
