Cecil Wilson, 74, of Russellville, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He was born in Logan County April 17, 1935, a son of the late Bill Wilson and the late Roxie Williams Wilson.

Mr. Wilson served in the Kentucky National Guards, worked with Page Brothers Motors and later was self-employed in his own business. He was a member of Stevenson Chapel Methodist Church.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 25 at the Stevenson Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Doug Lyons and Bro. Gene Hadden officiating. Burial followed in the Stevenson Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were, Warren David Wright, Joe Bailey Wright, Freddie Borders, Duck Cowherd, Steve Benton, Michael Parker, Gary Holman and Ray Celsor.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Grayson Wilson; his sons, Timmy Wilson and Barry Wilson, both of Russellville; his brothers, Billy Wilson, Bobby Wilson and Tommy Wilson, all of Russellville; his sisters, Betty Ashby of Lewisburg and Janie Sanford of Springfield, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Wilson, Brittney Wilson, Josh Wilson and Kyle Wilson; and one grandchild.
