She was born in Logan County Feb. 18, 1940, a daughter of Florence Collins of Russellville and the late Walter Collins.
Ms. Collins was a member of the Living God Church of God In Christ and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Russellville with Bishop James Bell Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 23 from 11 am. until time of service at the church. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Collins is survived by her daughters, Shernita Collins and Stephanie Collins, both of Russellville, Donna Collins of Louisville and Dianna Collins of Bowling Green; her sons, Kenneth Collins and wife Theresa of Louisville, Greg Collins of Bowling Green and Jonathan Collins of Russellville; her sister, Brenda Carnell of Russellville; 20 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
