Corn yield contest winners

Thank you to all those who took time to participate in the 2009 Kentucky Corn Yield Contest. Logan County was represented very well and had the state winner.

Marcus Huffman, of Auburn, produced 295.56 bu/AC to have the high yield in the no-till and conventional tillage categories. Winning the irrigated corn division was Joel Armistead, of Adairville, with a 284.50 bushel yield.

These producers will be recognized at the 2010 Kentucky Commodity Conference January 22nd in Bowling Green at the Holiday Inn University Plaza.
