The Logan County High School Band will present their 2009 Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church located on Main Street in Russellville.

There is no charge for admission, but the band is asking you to bring a toy for their Toys for Tots toy drive to help families in Logan County, as a service project to give back to the community.

LCHS students Rebekah and Christina Link and their parents will perform three musical numbers featuring violin, mandolin, guitars, and singing. Then LCHS Symphonic band will take the stage and perform seven Christmas Classics including: Lo, How a Rose er' Blooming, As Lately We Watched, Greensleeves, Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring, Christmas Fantasia featuring Urkainian Bell Carol, Stille Nacht and Christmas Fugue featuring We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Please come out and join us for a great performance. It is sure to be a festive time for the whole family,” said LCHS Director of Bands C. Allen Kennedy.
