On Thursday, Oct. 29 prepare to be “spooked” as the Logan County High School Marching Band presents its first annual Halloween Concert called "Symphony Of Souls".

This will be the first year for their Halloween concert but the band hopes that with community support this can become a Halloween tradition for the community.

People are always looking for fun and safe activities during this “spooky” time of the year and the concert will provide just that for all ages.

Those who attend (children and adults) are encouraged to come dressed in costume and will only have to pay $3 to get in if they do so. Those who choose not to dress up will be charged $5. Children four years old and under are free.

Dressed for the occasion, the LCHS Marching Cougars will be performing Halloween classics such as: Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, The Addams Family, Ghostbusters, Thriller (by Michael Jackson), In The Hall Of The Mountain King, Werewolves in London, Count Rockula and many more!

Concessions will start at 6 p.m. at Logan County High School Commons area. There will be apple blossoms, hot dogs, chili, nachos and other things for sale. There will be plenty of room to sit, socialize and enjoy the ghoulish atmosphere before the concert begins at 7 p.m. in the main gymnasium.

Following the concert everyone is invited back to the commons area for door prizes, costume contests for both children and adults and other trick's and treat's!

All proceeds from this concert will help the band travel to Florida in the spring where they have been invited to perform in the 2010 Disney Magic Days at Walt Disney World.

The band is trying to raise enough money so that every student can go on the trip to Disney where the band will represent Logan County by marching in the Disney parade.
