A head-on collision Monday on the Keysburg-Allensville Road claimed the life of 49-year-old Belinda Marie Mason of Cedar Hill, Tenn. and sent two teenagers of Todd County by helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital in critical condition.

According to Logan County Coroner Mary Givens, the accident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. Monday morning. It is not known at this time what caused the accident, which is being investigated by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.

The jaws of life had to be used on both vehicles to extract the victims.
