Man arrested for growing pot

Dewayne D. Farmer, age 21 of Dennis Corinth Road, was arrested Wednesday morning for growing marijuana.

At approximately 11 a.m., the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and the South Central Kentucky Drug Task force responded to a tip about marijuana growing on Dennis Corinth Road.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Farmer, who was later arrested for the marijuana plants found in and near the residence. Farmer is charged with cultivating marijuana (five or more plants), possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.

Farmer was taken and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
