According to a press release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the altercation was called in to the Emergency Communications Center (911) at 1054 Mortimor Road, Adairville at approximately 10:30 p.m.
The caller advised that someone had been shot.
The Sheriff’s Department and Logan County EMS responded to the call. When deputies arrived they found Lee lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg. Lee was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital and was treated and released.
Whitson was arrested on the scene and transported to the Logan County Detention Center.
