Logan County native Selton “Red” Hadden, 83

Selton “Red” Hadden, 83 of Lexington, formerly of Henderson, retired Osborn Brush employee and husband of Marie Whitman Hadden for over 62 years died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home.

A native of Logan County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Simon and Florence Hadden. He was a member of Bennett Memorial Methodist Church and a World War II veteran.

Survivors besides his wife include one son and daughter in law, Rick and Marjorie Hadden, Lexington; three grandchildren, Joe and Tim Hadden and Rebecca Buckler; three great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services were Monday, April 20 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home by Pastor Gary Polston.

Committal services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lexington.
