It was a mad scramble for eggs and goodies at the Stevenson Elementary preschool class Easter egg hunt last Thursday.
Parent volunteers hid eggs in strategic places in the preschool playground but it didn’t take the three- and four-year-olds long to find them. Each student had made and decorated his/her own bag to hold the brightly colored eggs, all of which held candy treats inside.
Those who found plenty shared with those who didn't, and all had an exciting time as the hidden eggs were quickly found. Parent onlookers chuckled as their children squealed each time a new “treasure” was found. And the weather cooperated, so the egg hunt could be conducted under relatively warm and very sunny skies. Family Facilitator Marilane Kerstiens extends a thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped to make the festivities so successful.
