The Logan County FFA Greenhouse opened on Saturday, April 4. This is the main Spring Sale of the year. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday sales benefit the Logan County FFA Alumni Fund. Sales will continue until May 9 or until greenhouses are sold out.

Some of the annual plants available at the FFA Greenhouse are: Ageratum, Celosia, Dahlia, Geranium, Pansy, Petunia, Portulaca, Verbena, Wave Petunia, Begonia, Coleus, Marigolds, Periwinkle, Salvia, Snapdragon, Vince, Zinna, Boston Fern, Fuchsia and Impatiens.

Some of the perennial plants available at the greenhouse are: Coreopsis, Dianthus, Digitalis, Dusty Miller, Lupine, Rudbeckia, Cabbage, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Peppers, Boston Ferns, Million Bells, Fuchsia, Double Impatiens, Geraniums, Dragon Wing Begonia, and Wave Petunias.

The greenhouse classes at Logan County High School have worked hard getting the greenhouse ready for the spring sale. The students work in the greenhouse everyday watering plants, transplanting, fertilizing, mixing soil and moving around plants preparing for the opening day. Their hard work will pay off whenever people like you come out and support the Logan County FFA Chapter by buying some plants.
