Greetings from the Antioch Community.
A Fish Fry was held Saturday night at church at Antioch. Michael Christian did the cooking of fish and did a great job. They cooked the Fish out side. They had a tent up in case it rained. We had a good supper with the fish, hush puppies, white beans, baked beans, slaw and lots of dessert. We had a good time of Fellowship. I counted 34 people present.
We had visitors at church Sunday morning. J.C. and Barbara Key, Justin Berry and his son. We are always glad to have visitors.
Charlie Delk read one of his poems and Cheryl Flewallen played the piano for us and we enjoyed both of them.
I received a call from my brother-in-law Monday from Branson, Mo. He is doing all right.
James and Sue Fuller, my sister and brother-in-law, are still having problems. Sue had to keep an appointment with her back Doctor on Tuesday.
Dolores Harris and Vanessa Price went after church Sunday to the Mexican Restaurant in Russellville and met Jason, Susan and children and ate lunch together. They were celebrating Susan’s birthday.
Visiting with Christine White was her sister Mae and daughter Donna from Ohio. Also, Juley, Shelby and Dorothy.
Christine said, “Thanks.” to all who came to see her due to the death of her son, Jerry. Dorothy drove Christine to the cemetery on Tuesday morning. She said the flowers on Jerry’s grave were still pretty. They drove by Jimmy and Judy’s house. She enjoyed riding around. Sure was a pretty day to get out.
The seeds we sow today determine the kind of fruit we will reap tomorrow.
Have a Good Week.
