The Happy Homemakers Club #25 held its monthly meeting Wednesday, Feb. 20. Time 12:30 p.m. Place: 547 E. 7th Street.
The meeting was called to order by president Eadie McKinney. Thought for the month was Need by Margaret Todd. pledge tot he flag was by the group. Words of inspiration and lesson my President McKinney. Lesson on Homemakers Supporting Military Families.
Roll call was for six members naming a favorite winter activity.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by Zula Bailey. There were three birthdays, Carolyn Taylor, Helen Clayton and Joyce Barker. Joyce is still in Nashville after having surgery.
There were some suggestions on International Night being held in February and speakers. A game was played. (The First Lady Quiz.) A gift was given to the one that had the most correct answers. Margaret Todd won. A small lunch was served.
The meeting adjourned until the third week in March.
