Mary Betty Edwards Heatherly, 83, of Springfield, Tenn., formerly of Russellville, Kentucky, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin.
She was a Logan County native born June 8, 1929, to the late Jessie Coleman Edwards and Anna Laura Allen Edwards. She was employed at Emerson Electric and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Stratton.
Funeral services for Mary Betty Edwards Heatherly were conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Winston Roberts officiating with burial in the Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation was on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Pallbearers were Glenn Gore, Chris Stratton, Kaleb Stratton, Heath Johnson, Tommy Farmer and Brian Rains.
She is survived by her sons, Brad Stratton of Madison, Tenn. and Kenny Stratton of Springfield, Tenn.; daughter, Marilyn Gore of Franklin; sister, Gloria Oakes of Daysville; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
