Greetings from the Antioch Community.
Our W.O.M. Ladies met on Friday in the home with Christine White for the Week of Prayer for North American Missions and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Those present were Christine, Melba, Juanita, Myrtle and Louise. We were small in number, but we had a good meeting.
Peggy Taylor visited with her Brother James Fuller and wife Sue on Saturday afternoon.
James and Sue went to church Sunday and James was soughing worse Monday. His breathing isn’t much better.
Was good to get a call from my good friend Jeanie Gregory one day. She is a sweet lady.
I called my brother-in-law Louie Schmidt in Branson, Mo., Monday. He said he was doing okay. My sister has been gone six months already. Time sure passes away fast.
We had a Gideon Speaker at Antioch on Sunday morning. We had two musical specials at church. Linda Cropper played the Organ and Vanessa Price played the piano for Juanita Key.
Then Cheryl Flewellen played the organ and also the piano too. We enjoyed them all.
visiting with Myrtle Pogue was the Ladies from the Tabernacle Baptist Church on Thursday of last week. They had their devotion with Myrtle. She enjoyed it very much. Others in to see her was Lorrie Hopper, Darlene and Faye Brown.
Visiting with Christine White was grandson Jackie White. He came Saturday morning and brought Christine her Breakfast. Judy White came Monday night and brought her supper. Shelby and Juley Nelson and Dorothy Henderson was there also.
The Sunshine is beautiful this morning.
We make a living by what we get.
We make a life by what we give.
Have a good week.
