Clifton Ervin Gibbs, 86, of Lewisburg, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Logan County on Sunday, March 14, 1926, a son of the late Ervin Gibbs and the late Eunice Dorris Gibbs.

Mr. Gibbs was a retired farmer and contractor. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville and the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Brother Eugene Reynolds and Brother Steve R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Lewisburg. A Masonic service was held Monday,March 11 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation began Monday, March 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 45 1/2 years, Margie Estes Gibbs; his son, Robert Gibbs (Diane) of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Chelsea Gibbs and Jennifer Gibbs, both of Lewisburg and Malene Ball of Greenville; his great-grandchild, Michall Ball of Greenville; his step-daughters, Irene Graham and Lucille Kitchens, both of Bowling Green; his step-son, Don Hightower (Renate) of Lewisburg, and several nieces and nephews.
