Frank Lockhart, 71, of Auburn, died Monday, March 4, 2013, in the V A Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born in Warren County on Feb. 10, 1942, a son of the late John Thomas and Lona Stella McClure Lockhart. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lockhart was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Lockhart; his brothers, John, George, Bill, Bob, Charlie, Mutt and Carson Lockhart, and his sisters, Dorothy Gregory and Eunice Anderson.

Funeral Services for Frank Lockhart will be conducted Friday March 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Inc. Auburn Chapel with Bro. Kenny Chyle officiating and burial to follow in the Clearfork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Inc. Auburn Chapel and Friday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers were Timothy Lockhart, Ty Thomas, Tyler Bradley, Terry Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Zack Lockhart, Dalton Lockhart, Thomas Lockhart and David Bradley.

Mr. Lockhart was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, a United States Army veteran and formerly worked with Bowling Green Concrete. He is survived by his girlfriend, Bonnie Bellar; his son, Franklin Dewayne “Red” Lockhart of Russellvie; his daughter, Stella Thomas and husband Terry of Olmstead; her brother, Henry Lockhart of Rockfield; his grandchildren, Timothy Lockhart, Ty Thomas Tyler Bradley, Lindsay Lockhart, Dalton Lockhart, Ryan Thomas, Zack Lockhart, Olivia Brown and Thomas Lockhart, and his great-grandchild, Ally Nichole Thomas.
