Helen Wood Summers, 75, of Russellville, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at the Creekwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Russellville.

Mrs. Summers was born in Logan County on April 7, 1937, a daughter of the late Willey Logan Maxwell and the late Geneva Helen Coles Maxwell.

Ms. Summers was a member of the Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Bucksville.

A graveside memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. at the Auburn Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel was in charge of the arrangements

She is survived by her son, Charles Edward Summers of Russellville; her daughters, Barbara Sue Summers and Norma Jean Summers, both of Russellville and Kathy Lynn Summers of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Betty Jean Summers and Geneva Nichole Summers, and eight great-grandchildren.
