We can say we sure have had a lot of different weather this week. This is the second time we’ve had ice coverage, hope no one was seriously injured while having to be out. I heard on the radio where next week it is supposed to be in the 60s, what a change from 14 to there. Oh to soon, being the complaining people that we are, we will complain it sure is hot isn’t it?
Last Sunday at church visiting were Marissa Brown and her husband. I think they live Bowling Green way. She is the daughter of Nelson and Beverly Harris. She sung the special for church service and she did a fantastic job. It is always good to see her.
Guess you saw the name of a James Fuller in last weeks court news? Well, it isn’t our James A. Fuller of the Holler. James has had a lot of medical problems this past year, and even if he felt like “doin something” that is not our James.
Margie Latham had an enjoyable time Saturday as she celebrated a birthday. Helping with her kids were Ricky, Vicki, Sheila and Lynn, 2 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids. They ate at the Mexican restaurant.
had two interesting calls this week, well more, but these were from those I usually do not hear from. First, my cousin Shirley Price from Owensboro. he calls fairly often, they were as well as usual. Shirley (she) was at work. She works for a pharmacy. So good to hear from them.
The next call was from a friend we met those many years ago when we had commodities. We have tried to keep in touch and that is Mr. gene and Mrs. Marcie Taylor of Bowling Green, they were doing very well, he said. I get other calls and appreciate those too.
Are you forever loosing something (in the house) and just can’t seem to find it? Well, you can laugh at this one as long as you want. I lost my clean dishrag, never did find it that day, but oh I did eventually. Surprisingly, when I opened the refrigerator door there it was. Isn’t it stupid what you can do? One time, Bod lost his ice cream, finally I found it. Guess where it was? Under the sink. Luckily, it wasn’t melted.
Some known February birthdays, the 5th Stanley Wayne, the 8th granddaughter Tara, the 9th Hester Martin, the 10th Kenny Cummins, the 13th Bev Whitson, the 19th Travis Bryan, the 20th Ann Saunders, the 24th Cade Johnson, the 26th Andrew Cummins, the 27th Chandler Jackson and the 28th Russell Johnson.
John 3:16 “For God so loved, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not parish, but have ever lasting life.” That probably is maybe the first scripture you learned to memorize.
In talking to niece Sandra Sharp, they have been having problems. Kim, her daughter, has 3 kids and they all have problems. On February 6th, at Vanderbilt, Marin will have a biopsy of her lungs; Tristen will have surgery, something about his sinus and lungs and Keaton is having problems with a crooked spine. Sandra has also been sick, headache, vomiting and other problems. Ray is feeling better.
And her brother, Jimmie had surgery Tuesday in Springfield ans they will go to Hendersonville to learn to do dialysis at home. My, my they are having a rough time right now. They would covet your prayers.
One day, while feeling better, Sandra drove to Bowling Green and spent the time with a special friend Judy Coursey Taylor.
James Fuller checks in with his Dr. in Bowling Green Friday the 8th. Hope he gets a good report.
Bro. Art and Mrs. Jane Hatfield are home after a business trip to beautiful California ans they said the weather was beautiful. At least they missed the ice and slick roads here.
Have a good week and see ya soon.
Nest time I take to Dick I’m gonna ask him please next year, don’t predict the weather. Do you agree? he seems to have gotten it right.
So far, I know, I know, hot weather is awful, but I think I prefer it to this kind we’ve had lately.
