The weather has certainly been different this week, with the sleet at least it was not as bad as had been predicted. The sun shine sure looks good. As of today, Saturday, they are giving pretty cold temperatures for next week. Again, we shall see.
A bad tragedy occurred this week in our area when Barbara Christian and grandson were involved in an accident. Barbara didn’t make it and her grandson, whom I’ve heard was 3, didn’t survive either. Our sympathy to Michael and the rest of the family. Death is hard to accept in any and all events, one so tragic seems much worse.
Also our sympathy to the family of Lannie Arnold and also the family of Margie Woodall. Besides her hubby and family, she has 3 remaining sisters Kay Kisselbaugh, Marie Epley and Georgia Jessup. Let God comfort as only He can.
Mrs. Marion Mallory has surgery this past week at the local hospital and seems to be doing well. Keep it up lady, you can do it.
Talked to Lois Earl (Farmer) Brown one day this past week. He is doing okay, has to see his Dr. on February 4th. Carrie is doing very well, she is back at work. Roger is doing better, he is also back at work. I also asked about his mom-in-law Mrs. Nora and she seems to be doing maybe a wee bit better. That bunch has had a bad winter.
Pat Stanley through a freaky accident, has broken a rib. Wow, I know that hurts.
Wilmer Delk had a surprise birthday party Saturday in his church at Lewisburg, hear there was quite a crowd. he celebrates his actual day the 22nd. He was 88, I think. Anyway, have more okay?
I have had several in this week, Martha Williams did my perm, Marvine Borders, Brenda and Curtis Coursey and their grand kids Shannon and Shelby.
And in filling in the pulpit in the absence of the pastor was Bro. Kenny and Tammy Cummins. he is the former pastor, whom we all still love. They ate with me and we enjoyed the afternoon visiting. We are always glad to hear and see them.
Until next time, smile and remember God loves you, He really does.
